Consulations for rescued dogs
We offer a discounted first time consultation service for newly adopted dogs from approved 501c3 organizations. Please schedule this service within 3 weeks of adopting your dog.

What to prepare
- Try to ensure your dog has eliminated before the meeting, so we aren’t worried about an accident occurring
- Since a consult is more about us talking, it’s best if your dog is a little tired before we meet
- If you have a chew toy or puzzle toy that can be stuffed with food, save this for the consultation appointment so your dog can have a project while we speak
For behavior modification
- We will email you a behavior assessment form. Please have this completed and returned to us as soon as possible.
- For our safety, we may request that your dog is gated, crated, muzzled, or leashed when we enter.
Rescue Consultation: $250 for 90 min

Trainers I worked with in the past were never available when i needed it or had a question. Not Justis, she is prompt and extremely courteous. She transformed my terrier rescue, Maxwell, from a leash reactive terror (barking and lunging at dogs big and small) to an attentive student, who gets complimented on his manners and can pass dogs and greet a dog when appropriate. Justis creates a plan for you and your dog. Training is work, so be prepared to do your homework. Maxwell wouldn’t be where he is today without Raise the Woof!
